A pass in 10+2 or PUC-II examinations, with 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics (Compulsory subjects) along with one of Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics subjects and English as one of the languages.
A pass in 10+2 or PUC-II examinations, with 40% aggregate in optional subjects in case of candidates belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes.
Pass in Diploma awarded by the Board of Technical Education, the Govt of Karnataka or any other Diploma considered equivalent for the lateral entry admission to second year.
